Picnic Wineries

Which wineries in the area have picnic areas where you can buy wine by the glass to drink with your lunch? Any have deli or picnic supplies on site?

Hester Creek has a deck with picnic supplies inside. You can buy wine by the bottle (at winery price) not sure about the glass. TinHorn has some picnic supplies

If you get up to Naramata, Joie Winery has a fantastic picnic setup (and excellent food, too).

hi

going north from Osoyoos take Road 22 to Black Sage Road. Good idea to drop in at Burrowing Owl to climb to the top of the tower - door to the tower is on the right side in the building with the restaurant.

then there is http://www.platinumbench.com/our-bread.html not far north from BO. can not confirm about picnic area.

If you are ever back in the Okanagan area. Pentage Winery has a dog friendly picnic area you can enjoy the views of Skaha Lake while you have have a picnic and glass of wine. They sell wine in their tasting room by the bottle, as well as cheese, crackers and cured meats. However, they also let you bring your own snacks as well.

The winery is in Penticton and is located at:

4551 Valleyview Road

Penticton, BC V2A 8V8

I'd recommend a private tour of their natural rock wine cellar, as it's amazing. Something you'd see from the movie "Thunder Dome" with Tina Turner. ;-)

hi Christy M

your info sound a lot like the marketing brochure for a winery........

it really helps when you add you location to your profile so we can tell if you are a visitor or ?

First time posters with this kind of info are allways suspect until proven otherwise (-:

Reviving an old post from 2016 is also suspect.
