2 night stay at Tenaya Lodge - September.

We have a 2 night stay in September as part of a road trip. What is the best way to see as much as possible in 1 day? Are there shuttles to move you to main points and back again? Should I get some kind of ticket or do we just pay on entry? 1st time visitor

If you open the full TA website (not the app) and look to the right, you'll see the Top Questions about Yosemite. Your questions are answered there.

Here is some basic info:

Tenaya Lodge in Fish Camp is outside 1200 square mile Yosemite National Park. Your lodging is about 5 minutes from the South Entrance where you pay your entrance fee (valid for one week.) From the South Entrance .......

-You can park nearby and take a shuttle into the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias where you walk or hike.

-You can drive 1 hour to the viewpoint called Glacier Point. There is a a great hike just a few miles before you arrive at Glacier Point to Sentinel Dome. (Read the Glacier Point Road topic)

-You can drive 1 hour to Yosemite Valley. Stop at Tunnel View and then maybe Bridalveil Fall on the way. Then park in the Valley and use the shutttles, rental bikes, or your feet to get around. Don't drive around the Valley for tourism.

-You can drive and drive and drive to Tuolumne Meadows along Tioga Road. I hope that you can include this area on your entry or exit day as part of your Road Trip.
