We're travelling to Buffalo for a couple days in the beginning of December. Any recommendations for must-see sites?
I know it'll be cold(!) so what to do indoors? Anything open near the falls?
Buffalo sights to consider:
Knox-Albright Art Museum
Darwin Martin House (FL Wright designed)
Most attractions are closed on the American side of the falls. There is a casino in the area if you want to gamble.Edited: 15 November 2017, 09:55
Does your trip to Niagara Falls include a visit to the Canadian side ?
possibly! do you recommend it? how far is the canadian side from buffalo?
Travel from Buffalo to Niagara Falls (USA) is about 20-25 minutes by car. The Canadian side, (where you will find most of the tourist-type attractions), is merely a matter of crossing a short bridge (no incline), and clearing customs, which at that time of the year shouldn't take very long. You will need proper documentation to both enter Canada and re-enter the USA (the document requirements are not exactly the same). Keep doing your research to make sure you have sufficient information.
