Sea World food prices...

Can you give me an idea of what it costs to eat there? They do not have prices listed on the web-site. How difficult is it to get to the car, leave and go eat elsewhere and then re-park? Usually, this takes up more park time than I am willing to spare.

It's been a while, but my recollection is that meals are around $10 per person.

It would be cheaper to buy a cheap ice chest at HEB and fill it with sandwich stuff and drinks and leave it in your car and take a break. There are a couple of benches/ areas out front.

Buy the re-fillable drink mugs and share to save money on soft drinks. You can also pre-purchase a parking pass electronically to save a little money. Search for promo codes for Sea World to save on entrance prices as well. We found one last summer that discounted the entry price by 20% and gave you a second day free. Once you are inside you will pay premium prices for food and drinks.

Expect to lose 2 hours if you leave to eat and then return. Also check to see if the parking permit allows for re-entry. Not sure about that. There are fast food places close but definitely not walking distance.

Food prices are around $5.00 to $10.00 depending on what you get. IMO it's not worth leaving for, it's fairly reasonable considering if you had to leave & all the hassle that goes with it. As tejashombre said you may want to buy a cheap styrofoam ice chest & put some sandwich items in there & then eat our front. They'll stamp your hand so you can re enter without a problem.

Also you could eat a big breakfast before going to cut down from getting a big meal there, we've done that a few times.
