Supernarkets? Restuarants?

We will be arriving late on Tuesday, May 16th. We are staying at Rodeway Inn. Are there any supermarkets around where we can pick up a case of water and some small snacks? We plan on bringing these with us while hiking in RMNP. Where are good spots to grab a burger or pizza? Will be in Estes Park for two nights. Thanks for any info.

There's a Safeway grocery store in Estes Park. It's at the main intersection when you drive in.

Rather than buying water, buy or bring refillable water bottles or hydro flasks. There are hydration stations at the visitor centers and Hidden Valley in the park to refill them.

There is a full service Safeway (major chain) grocery store in Estes Park. Sign up for the free savings card for best pricing.

There are lots of pizza places in Estes Park - even a Domino's (one of the few franchises in Estes Park). In defense of Domino's, the Estes Park location has always done a nice job for us. We like Village Pizza. Either Antonio's makes really good pizza or the owner is really good at hawking TripAdvisor reviews.

Burgers - Baba's is clearly the favorite but several people have mentioned that Fresh Burger (fairly new) is very good. Smokin' Dave's has really good burgers but I save my BBQ appetite to eat at Dave's.

Another vote for Village Pizza. Yummy every time.

For basic pizza/burgers, Estes can handle the job (and I am an Antonio's fan). Overall, our restaurants are not very good, IMO. Try Villa Tatra in Pinewood Springs (about 15 minutes/halfway to Lyons) for a first rate meal.
