Hi all,

Do you recommend driving to the summit on oneself or taking a tour?

We also want to visit the observatory, is it accesible say this week? thank you!

The summit observatories are not open to the public. The summit closes to the public at sunset.

If you want to visit the summit for sunset then you should take a tour. If you’re primarily interested in stargazing, then you can do that for free at the VIS on your own, four nights per week.
