Ferries to Brac

Just booked up to go to Brac 1st week in September and was wondering about the ferries, we have hired a car from Split Airport and will drive to the ferry port, do you need to pre book the ferry or can you just turn up

There is no point booking car ferries ahead, as a ticket doesn't guarantee you a place on a particular sailing.

Drive from the airport to the port - 40-60 minutes depending on the time of day. Put your car in the Brac boat queue and go to the booth to buy your tickets - one for the car and for each passenger. If you have a long wait, leave the car in the queue and go for a walk round Split old town or grab a coffee/lunch. Drinks onboard are more expensive, so take some with you. There is a kiosk opposite the dock that is better value.

Be back at your car 50 minutes before the sailing. On your return, be at the port an hour before sailing and do the same thing in reverse. You can't buy return tickets.

Many thanks for your help, is the port easy to find from the airport?

Yes, follow the signs to Split and once in the city for Trajekt (meaning ferry).
