Hi

I would look at www.southwest.com and sign up for their dings. You will get alerts for discounts. They also let you put 2 bags in the hold for free each. I would think you should get a single ticket between $52 to $99.

Thanks for the quick responses.Looks like southwest aren't taking bookings for that far in advance.Just checked jet blue $183 for 2 passengers allowed 1 check- in bag each free. But there is a stop off at long beach, would anybody know if you have to change planes.

Not sure if you would ave to change planes in Long Beach but it look like you would have a few hours lay over in Long Beach. It's only a 1.5 hour direct flight on Southwest or Virgin America. I'd just wait a few months to book the tickets. Between Virgin and Southwest there are over a dozen flights/day to Las Vegas

Note: Generally Southwest books about 5 to 6 months in advance.

I wouldn't worry about the prices - both Southwest and Virgin have had those low fares for quite some time now and dont require booking months in advance. I just booked a ticket from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 2 weeks on Southwest for $49
