Is it consistently rainier and cooler in February in Poipu?
How often is the weather good in mid/late february?
We have spent time in Poipu in feb, mar and April. We have had great and rainy weather in both feb and march, but have settled on April because we found it warmer and also the ocean felt warmer too. But if we could only go in feb, we'd definitely be on that plane!
The trick is to stay for a long time. That way if you get solid rain for a couple of days, it won't spoil your vacation.
Rainier or cooler than what? Seriously. Than Seattle, Jamaica? If you have to have a guarantee for sun, honestly you shouldn't come here - lol. I can say that I live only 2 miles as the crow flies from Poipu and it is incredibly more sunny and less rainy during the winter months there than it is here. But our temps are the same!
Our temps dip over night a bit right now and through December/early Jan and it may come up a few degress cooler in the day (only in the upper 70's) The island is very termperate unless a major storm front comes in from the North. That we can't predict.
