Have you tried using Google Maps to get distances? It works very well and has a setting for walking directions.

There is also a map of the resort at

www.waikoloabeachresort.com

that can help you place your location, in addition to using Google maps, which works very well here.

So, this path is quite familiar to us. From the entranceway into Colony Villas to the Queen's Marketplace......it is about 3/4 of a mile.

The shortest route is via Maintenance road (Check out KK's link) down a lovely paved road, but quite steep. At night , I would opt for a car as it is incredibly dark.........great view of the stars in the sky though! Bring a flashlight for your safety at the very least. There is a side path for pedestrians' along this stretch.

The King's Shops are just kitty corner from the "Queens'"......so another few hundred feet.
