Hi All ,does Correlejo have a supermarket delivery service? I'd like to be able to place an order that would be in our villa on our arrival. Thanks in advance :o)
Not sure, but if they did I'm assuming it would be like in the UK and you need to sign for it. Other people may have more info.
What, you mean they won't just chuck it over the gate or fence if nobody's home? Even if it's paid for?
They managed it in Lindos last year as they worked in conjunction with Villaplus to gain entry to properties ran by VP. Pretty handy service and saves you doing a shop as soon as you arrive.
They'd probably be happy to "look after it" on a permanent basis for an absent customer. No, they certainly wouldn't deliver to an empty property.
The Eurospar in the old town (not sure about the others) do a free delivery service if you spend over a certain amount (€60?). But you have to go in and choose the things and then rush home to be there when they deliver an hour or two later. Basically it's just a way to transport it.
Mercadona do an online ordering service. But you have to have a proper address, sign up, pay €7.50 for each delivery, and it's an absolute nightmare interface to use, with no pictures of anything. We did it for a while to save on the lugging, but we soon gave up.
we stay at the bahiazul... 5 mins walk from a great supermarket, extremely cheap
