Waterparks in Majorca

Does anyone know what date in October does Aqualand and Western Water Park close for the season? It says on the website they close in October but doesn't give an actual date. I am planning on going and would hate to get there to find they have close for the season. I'm hoping to go around the 10th, 11th or 12th for two weeks.

Thank you

It’s usually down to weather and how busy the are, I’ve known them to close at the end of September which is normal if the weathers gone downhill or still to be open in the second week of October in the heatwave they had a few years back but that is unusual.

I’ve never in over 30 years of visiting known them open later than that so my advice is if that’s a deal breaker go the last two weeks of September.

Bear in mind the sea is still very warm (well into the 20’s) into October so sea swimming is still pleasant.

OK thanks for this. Could you please tell me of other things to do in the area? I'm taking my 13 year old so I need to keep her busy, one of the reasons we wanted to be near a water park.

Thank you

You’ll find a lot of the summer activities are closing down then, but still plenty to do out and about. Get out and explore the island, bus services to nearby resorts and Palma are frequent. You have Santa Ponsa, Paguera, Puerto Portals (fabulous marina) and Port Andratx nearby, all are nice.

Look at doing the old train trip to Soller, this is a must not miss... best day out on the island.

Palma aquarium is also good.

If you’ve not been before the hop on hop off sightseeing tour of Palma is also great, loads to see, Bellver Castle, The Cathedral, Palma old town, great shopping.
