Living in Sciacca

Hi everyone.

I will move to Sciacca starting October for at least one year with a volunteering program. Any advice for expats? Do you think it is possible for a foreigner to find anything to work as part-time or during the week-ends? Also is it a safe area?

Thank you very much for any suggestion you might have!

Welcome to Sicily Gandacoaica!

Sciacca is lovely, a very local town, not at all touristy, and safe.

You might check the expat forums.
