where to stay

Travelling to vermont next oct. Only staying in vermont 3 nights. Have found a place to stay in killington, a condo next to killington golf course. I know killington is the place to go for skiing, but what about just as abase to drive out to other places? Any tips would br great.

Killington is fairly central , thus a good place to venture from. Check Woodstock, Quechee and Norwich to the east and north. Take Rt 100 north to Warren/ Waitsfield, Waterbury and Stowe. To the south; Weston, Chester, and Grafton.

Could also possibly add Bellows Falls, Brattleboro and/or Newfane to the southern loop.

You are welcome. Just in case you haven;t discovered, the town specific forum(s), drop down menu, in the Vermont forum, under the "add a new topic" button will get you to town specific information regarding "things to do" and restaurants.
