I have not been there, but I came across the place when I was researching hte New Life Hiking Spa in Killington. It seemed to me that the Appalachian place was a copy-cat, but I have no evidence of that.

Have you researched New Life? I am thinking of going there in late July.

After researhing hiking spas for a couple of years, I decided to take a vacation to New Life in June and LOVED IT! I did look into Appalachian Trail Adventures and they have only been open for three years and it seemed like every time I looked in them they were moving to a different hotel. New Life is a solid program that has been around a long time. I want to go back next year.

I know the operator, John, from his previous endeavor, when he took me on several guided trips. He really had his act together and knew what he was doing, so I'd expect the same out of his hiking spa.

Hi, Maybe it is time somebody has something to say or so to speak get the ball rolling.

Do understand I have not stayed at the Grey Bonnet Inn in Killington, nor have I hiked with ATA. However I do know John the creative organizer. Any of the activities John and I have participated in together, John has always been well prepared before executing any of his objectives. I have never had him meet me only half way. He has always gone above and beyond what was expected; truly 150%.

If you or anybody wanting to get nurtured by working on a healthier lifestyle. John and his staff well teach you how to eat what is right for you, get some exercise outdoors in a healthy environment and then finish the day by being pampered at the spa.

Would I recommend ATA? Yes
