Good places to host rehearsal dinner in/around Burlington

We need to host a rehearsal dinner in or around Burlington in July, but know nothing about the area. Any ideas on some good places that have private or semi-private rooms?

If you want to really impress, see if you can book the Wakefield Room which is the upper level of the Burlington Boathouse. enjoyburlington.com/waterfront/splashcafcate… Cannot get a better location for an evening dinner party in the Burlington area. It is literally floating on the water, and the sun sets directly in front of you over the lake and the Adirondack mountains of New York.

Leunig's is another place on Church Street (pedestrian only street full of shops, bars and restaurants) which would be really nice. http://www.leunigsbistro.com/private-parties

Finally, outside of downtown (only by a mile or so, and near many hotels) is the Windjammer which I think offers excellent food and the biggest, best salad bar in the region. This would be the most economical option. windjammerrestaurant.com/windjammer-restaura…

The rehearsal dinner will be small…approx. 22-26 people.

Thank you for the information!! The rehearsal dinner will be small…approx 22-26 people. The Windjammer is a possibility for sure. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Here's another possibility, a little outside of Burlington but a unique setting:

Tina - What kind of venue are you looking for? There are plenty of places, ranging from rustic to chic. Price range..? Ambiance...? Proximity to downtown..?

We would love something downtown, as most of the wedding party is staying downtown and will not have rental cars. We want a comfortable place that has good food and beverages. I know....very vague, right? Sorry.

Check with the Icehouse. http://www.icehousevt.com/events-2 Consistently good food for many years, views over the lake, easy walking from any of the downtown hotels. We did a Christmas party there a few years ago for about 30 people and it worked really well.
