Our Trip to Nashville was more of a Music Tour as My husband is a musician.
Day one - arrived and went bar hopping in the District. Especially like Laylas and Legends Corner. Great music. Ernest Tubs Record Shop was very interesting.
Day Two - Country Music Hall of Fame and Studio B. Studio B brings you back to the 50's and 60's. It is on Music Row. The Country Music Hall of Fame was good. They had a special Loretta Lynn exhibit. It does take several hours to do both. But my husband looks a everything. At night went to Station Inn where locals go and saw Mark Pearson a fantastic guitarist.
Day three - guitar shopping at Carter Vintage and Gruhn guitar. If you play guitar these are the places to go. Very friendly at Carter Vintage Not so much at Gruhn. However we did meet George Gruhn who was nice and saw some other celebrities. We had lunch at Peg Leg Porker which had great dry rub ribs. At night went to the Classic Country Show at the Ryman.
Day four - Musicians Hall of Fame - this was very good. Don't miss the Rolling Stone exhibit.
Dinner Fin and Pearl restaurant. Very good in the Gulch. Special occasion restaurant.
Day five - saw friends went to the Jefferson Street Museum. Museum about artists that started in clubs on Jefferson
Day six - Johnny Cash Museum which was good, Opryland Hotel which was gorgeous and Grand Old Opry.
This was a great itinerary to follow if you are a musician.
