Safari Tents at Tathra Beach Family Park

Question

We note the safari tents at the caravan park are the same price as the hotel rooms at the Tathra Beach House hotel rooms. We have stayed  on several occasions  in the hotel rooms and they were great ! Although the last time we were there we thought they were getting a bit dated for the cost.

We have stayed also at the caravan park just with all our own gear in tent sites twice  in the hotel rooms a few times but like the idea of a quick easy visit to Tathra for just two or three nights without bringing our huge 4wd and camping gear. But I'd love to hear from any one who has stayed in the tents ???? In the general reviews there is no comments specially on the safari tents

I guess that's why Tathra is quiet !

It's also part of the reason we LOVE it as our mini break destination

The above must have all been on big long holidays !!

Hi Le0nnie,

Tathra is a place we love also, but we always stay in a cabin at the Big 4 when travelling through, we haven't looked anywhere else, I suppose it's a tradition going back 20 plus years.

If you've stayed at the Tathra Beach Family Park, even if it's with your own gear, why don't you write a review about that, others might then write a review about the tent accommodation, someone has to start.

Just to clarify - the people you have mentioned are DEs for all of NSW, not specifically Tathra.

They may not have responded simply because they have not stayed in the Safari Tents....or for that matter, in Tathra itself.

Tathra Destination Experts just comes up on the tripadvisor page

Tathra is a fantastic spot where ever you stay , we've stayed at a friends house several times in Cliff's Place

as well as one of the other caravan parks . Pretty sure I've reviewed it ages ago
