Love them both, but they are totally different....Seminyak on the beach & Ubud inland & very cultural....Not a fan of Nusa Dua......but everyones taste is different.....so it depends on what you, the newly weds want

Choose between Nusa Dua and Seminyak, but keep Ubud as one of your choices as it is the only one of the three here that is in the country and an easy hop off point for day trips, notwithstanding all the cultural activities, wonderful restaurants, spas and shopping that you can find in Ubud.

Nusa Dua is a gated enclave of international hotels where you will not find local people unless they work at one of the hotels and restaurants and shopping outside of the hotels is very limited. So, if you want a sheltered honeymoon where you just stay next to your luxury hotel and be waited on hand and foot, stay in Nusa Dua. If you want to be able to wander out of your chosen accommodation and have a varied choice of restaurants, shopping and spas, then choose Seminyak.

Congratulations on your up-coming wedding!

P.S. There are many pool villas in Ubud. Look in the Holiday Rentals section at the top of this page with the button in the green line, also flipkey.com You need to filter by your maximum price per night, or you will be wading through 223 villa options.

Please keep Ubud since it will give you the exposure to Bali culture. It is a perfect base for very interesting day trips. On our recent trip to Bali, we enjoyed Ubud way more than Seminyak.

Wherever you go, have a wonderful honeymoon!
