Airport formalities while returning from Bali

Hi, We are travelling back from Bali tomorrow. I read somewhere that there is an airport tax that needs to be paid while leaving, can anyone clarify how much it is and does it needs to be paid in local currency ? Also, is there any limit for carrying souvenirs from Bali and any extra fee to be paid for the items being taken from Bali ?

The departure tax is 150,000 rupiah and must be paid in rupiahs! There is no limit on how many souvenirs you carry, but there are luggage limits, and if you are over the limit of the baggage allowance for the airline you are flying with, then you will have to pay for excess baggage.

You just have to be careful with multiple items that are the same because customs may say you are importing them to sell - not allowed lots of copies of the same dvd
