Fun club for young 40 year olds

Taking wife to Vegas for 45th birthday. We're both young at heart in great shape and love to dance. Any clubs where we can have some fun, but not be surrounded by 20 year olds wondering what the old people are doing there (this happened last time we were in Vegas)?

Try Indigo at Balleys, Roxey's at Sam's Town and Gilleys at T.I. Also the bar at Casino Royale is a great party atmosphere with the cheapest drinks in town to start the night. No dancing there.

We just got back from Vegas. We are 52 & 57 yrs old. Went to Marquee on Monday night for Redfoo & had a blast. Plenty of 60 yr+ conventioneers there with 20 yr old girls (put in their booth by the club). Loved Bond Bar at Cosmo. No dancing there but good music & atmosphere. Thought Cleopatra's Barge was a bit hokey. Went there twice & both times guys dancing by themselves or with each other just jumping around or standing on the dance floor walking around. Pure is really nice as well as Tryst. Didn't make it there this time but loved it in the past. Eyecandy at Mandalay was good too because there were conventioneers to watch. Mid week it may be a bit slow.

I personally don't care how old I am. We routinely go to rock shows around here with mostly 20 somethings. I go where I am happiest & if the people around me don't like it too bad.

Indigo at Bally's is good.

Also, Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY can be a lot of fun. Saw a great live band there and danced the night away, fun times.

Lastly, I'd recommend VooDoo Lounge on the roof of the Rio. Great view, and all ages in there. Me and my sister went there and I did not feel out of place at all(FYI, I was pushing 40 at the time, and she was 32).

Try the bar at Stage Door Liquors behind Bills. Always a mixedage crowd in there with cheap drinks and good music from the Jukebox.

Indigo at Bally's tends to have a african american crowd. The Stage Door tends to be a rough crowd. I agree Nine Fine Irishman and VooDoo tend to be a good mix!

This is a great question - I have always been intimidated at the thought of heading to a club in LV (me and DH are 43 and 45) due to thinking it would be filled with loads of young good-looking 20 somethings and we would look completely out of place...

However your post has made me think that this year we are going to give a club a go!

Let us know how you get on!

I agree with VooDoo. It has a mixed age, fun crowd and we felt very comfortable there. We are in our 40s.
