Red Rock or Valley of Fire

We would like to do one of these. Not sure if there is time for both. Is there a clear cut favorite? We will not be spending the whole day. Maybe an hour or two. Thanks for the help.

If you only have an hour or so than Red Rock. Quick 25 minute drive from the strip. Walk around a bit, do the loop, you can be back at your hotel in 2 hours.

But IMO the better one is Valley of Fire. But you really need more time to do it right. Drive out there is 40 minutes each way.

I would do both. Valley of Fire if I absolutely had to pick one.

VOF is much bigger and much, much better and more interesting than RRC. Once you have seen VOF, RRC may be a big disappointment.

If I had to choose one- VOF, for sure. However, it will take more time to get there and back. But it is worth the extra time.

Do Red Rock first in a short time and then on to VOF. You can do it in less than a day.
