Nashville - Lexington

I am looking for a stop in KY on a longer road trip, between Nashville and Lexington or maybe in either place. Looking for interesting 1-2 day exprience for teens and us on family vacation. Found one place called Snug Hollow Farm south of Lexington. Has anyone heard of this place? Can you suggest anything better? I probably have failed to state something but maybe this will bring some suggestions or questions. Thanks

We just came back. We stopped in Lexington and took a horse farm tour, in Mammoth Cave and took a cave tour, and in Nashville and saw the Hermitage and Grand Ole Opry. I hope this helps.

Not sure which route you're planning to take. A couple of options....

-Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill (20-30 mins. south of Lexington)

-Cumberland Falls State Park (Near Corbin, KY on I-75. About 2 hours southeast of Lexington on I-75)

-The Grove Marina (about 10 miles from Cumberland Falls. Houseboat & pontoon boat rentals)
