Fillenwarth Beach or Bridges bay resort?

We are looking at going to lake okoboji next summer with family wondering which place would be best. It would be 2 families of 4 and my mom. The kids would be 6,8,12,15. Thanks!

Fillenwarth has free boat cruises daily and the free ski lessons in the mornings. Bridges bay has a water park. If you are looking for the old fashion 70's family vaca, its Fillenwarths hands down. Its like going back to the simple life and kids love it. Plus they have a doc on the lake to lay out on. Bridges only has the pool. You wont get any other experience like Fillenwarths, Bridges is like any other city you visit with a water park. Plus if you stay at Fillenwarths and it rains, drive over to Bridges to use the water park for 10 bucks a person....

Fillenwarth Beach has lots of activities for the family. Very friendly family run business for 97 years. Water skiing, sail boating, kids arts and crafts, of course swimming and fishing. Have stayed there numerous times from childhood (1970's) to last summer (2015). It is within walking distance to lots of shops and dining as well as Arnolds Park where you must ride the wooden roller coaster. Have never stayed at Bridges Bay Resort so cannot comment on that. You are in for a wonderful family time! Enjoy.
