We've been a fan of Bistrot Zinc since they opened on Southport Ave. in 1996. The Gold Coast location has been our go to Sunday Brunch joint. The neighborhood is once again changing. There are a number of restaurants in the Gold Cosst area that have gone. Ra Sushi is gone. The Big Bowl and Corner Bakery revamped locations are still empty two years after they closed. You're right HappiT, this particular closing is worth a tear.

We used to go there with our son when he lived in that neighborhood. Always enjoyed it.

My favorite restaurant. Ever. It's not just a restaurant. It's my true happy place: a haven of well prepared, beautifully served food, superb and friendly service, an authentic Gallic atmosphere... heavenly.
