Frontier Airlines Moves All O'Hare Operations to Terminal 5

This is part of a redesign intended to integrate international and domestic operations at O'Hare. Frontier flyers who are connecting to other domestic airlines should allow 90 minutes to change terminals.

Interesting. I couldn't figure out why my flight with them a couple weeks ago landed at T5. It was 5am so a very slow time.

Good. More room in T3 for more AA planes!

American needs to redo the Frontier gates. They were obviously low budget.

Did O'Hare have a lot of spots for Frontier?

I also forgot, technically Frontier did not have any gates of their own. They have just a few flights so they use shared gates in the L concourse of T3, now switching to shared gates in T5. T5 has one domestic bag claim area so can handle domestic flights, even though people refer to it as the international terminal. With the O'hare modernization program, more domestic airlines will be moving to T5 over the next several years.
