I am planning on coming to St. Petersburg in November. I am staying downtown, and plan on spending most of my time there. I will be by myself and have been thinking about my safety. I plan on walking around and maybe using the trolley some. Would it be unreasonable to be out after dark solo? I am looking at possibly relocating there in the near future. Sounds like a wonderful place, but I keep running across news of how crime and safety is an issue. I did live in Tampa years ago, but have no idea about the area now, especially St. Pete. Thanks in advance.
