Honeymoon- 24hr stopover in Miami- Good beach stay?

We are on our honeymoon from Oz & have a 24hour stay in Miami.

Where to stay? Only have 24 hours to get the 'feel' for Miami :(

South Beach - Ocean Drive???

Want to visit the beach, drink a beer & do some shopping. Where is the best place??

Also - estimated taxo cost from airport to where is recommended??

Cheers

You could try the Delano, Ritz Carlton, Z Ocean, Sagamore, among numerous others. How much are you looking to spend?

I am doing a 3 day stopover for my honeymoon. I was proposed to in Miami last year and if you want to get a Miami feel then you def wanna stay on Ocean Drive. We are staying at the Tides, it was rated the 2nd best hotel on TripAdvisor. It looks beautiful, so that’s what I would suggest!
