I'm travelling from UK to Colombia, and i do a stopover of 6-9 hours on Miami. Do I need a transit visa for my connection flight from Miami?

There is no longer a transit visa option anywhere in the US. You’ll need an ESTA or Visa depending on your citizenship etc.

Yes, you will need whatever visa your citizenship requires whether you are in the U.S. for 2-hours for 2-days.

JordanBulls:

They would need ESTA at the minimum. Also its country of citizen that counts. They could be a resident of the U.K but say have citizenship in Iran or Uzbekistan.
