Is it calm waters?

Hi we will be down tommorow 8-17-09 in Key Largo and will be staying until Saturday , with all the storms down there is there a nice beach we can go to with out choppy waters ? we planed on visiting Bahia Honda and Sombrero , does anyone know if we will be able to swim or snorkle at these beaches ?

Is there a good Snorkle company that knows a good calm area to snorkle?

Beaches are fine. Little grass here and there due to east winds. (east winds are normal for the summer months.) You can swim and snorkel at both beaches - not much to see when snorkeling from shore here - but you can do it. however - Sombrero and Bahia Honda are far from Key largo.

If it's calm at one reef it's calm at all the reefs in the area.

A Deep Blue Dive is a great company to go out with.

It was 21 knots on Molasses today. <shivers> I would have been sick 10 minutes after leaving the dock. Can't say what visibility is, but I am betting as choppy as it was yesterday & today, not very good.
