Stamford Hotels

Hi,

It looks like there's a significant difference in the price of a couple of hotels. I've stayed at all 3 of them: Courtyard Marriott in downtown and the Stamford Marriott. The 3rd option is the Crown Hotel off Summer St. which used to a Sheraton and then something else afterwards. Opinions?

Depends on what you are looking to do - Courtyard Marriott is the closest to be able to walk around town, restaurants, etc.. without having a car available. You might want to look at Hotel Zero Degrees too - that's a funky little place, good location, and rates are usually good.

Curious since you've stayed at the Courtyard and the Marriott. Which did you prefer? Differences re service? Noise? Location? Did you use the outdoor pool at Marriott? Courtyard only has indoor pool. Thanks.
