Rent a car in LA through EconomyCarRentals.com

Hi, i've looked through a few websites for car rentals, and found really low rates at EconomyCarRentals.com (almost half the rate everyone else is charging). I'm a bit skeptical, wondering if there are hidden costs, even though its website says none.

Would appreciate any feedback.

cheers

What rates have you found? Please give us all of the details:

1. The dates you'll have the car

2.. The type of car

3. The options you've selected, e.g. GPS

4. The specific types of insurance included

5. The total amount of the quote.

I've not heard of this company but in cases where the rate is 'too good to be true', it usually is. Others that have posted questions like yours have had bad experiences:

1. They had to wait long periods of time to be picked up at the airport to be taken to a car hire lot that was far away and once they got there, the queues were very long

2. The cars were defective or not available (such that they ended up with a more expensive car)

3. There were hidden fees.

Please provide us the info above and we'll see if we can recommend a more mainstream company.

Hi, charmpsey, I would like to know if you finally rented with economycarrentals and how was your experience in LA. I have to drop the car very early in the morning so I'm not sure if they have a shuttle to the airport and if in the end the insurance and all the fees are the same they say in the website.

Thanks!
