City ran Beach camping

I will be at Disneyland end of July. We decided to go to the beach for one night however since its so close all the California state camp sites are booked. Do you know of any campsites that have at least electric hookup that are maybe found on another site like the city ran campsites or county parks? I checked recreation.gov but they do not show anything else. Sometimes if you know the city or county that has campsite you can reserve on their site so just wanted to check since you have to know where they are at to find them.

Golden Shore RV Park in LB-- but not really 'beach' camping.

Check California State Campgrounds-

ReserveCalifornia.com

And Huntington Beach RV Parks- they have a city ran Park. https:/…parking_and_camping.cfm

Dockweiler RV Park near LAX

Do you mean tent camping as opposed to an RV?

Doheny and San Clemente sites might be your best bets.

Long Beach has nothing.

I listed parks that require a self contained RV for the most part...

Check out Newport Dunes too.

Beach camping is popular year round in SoCAl, good luck finding something in summer. Check ReserveCalifornia.com.

I guess I should say camping right next to the beach. it can be a parking lot but we wanted to have at least electric hookup for our RV as we have tanks for water. I have looked on the California site at all state parks and they are booked that's why I am looking for state or county or more local ones hopeing they do not fill up as fast. the date is July 27th so that is a problem because its Friday but that is the date we are done with Disney.

It's very popular to stay near the ocean, those reservations are snapped up as soon as they become available. Even locals run into this issue, sorry.

Long Beach has Golden Shore RV Resort. Not on the "beach" as such; it's directly on the bay by the Queen Mary. If interested, I'd suggest contacting them ASAP:

Privately owned RV parks are probably your only choice at this late date. Expect to pay something on the order of $60 to $100 per night.

So I was looking at Harbor Beach in Oceanside, its basically a parking lot and its first come first serve, no hookups. So my question is we will be there July 27th. Is the weather typically cool enough to not have A/C? I saw a high around 73 and low 60s. Also Do you know if these sites normally fill up or if there are spaces? We plan on getting there in the morning since we will be driving from our prior campground in Anaheim.

You could try posting on Oceanside Forum. It is usually challenging to get FCFS campsites on Friday. You rarely need Air Conditioning right on the coast. Just jump into the cool ocean!

There are some reserveable campsites at San Onofre, on the Bluff.

There is a lot of availability at San Onofre Bluff Campground for that Friday night. Some availability for Fri and Sat night... (I would just reserve something. You can cancel if something better comes along.)
