anniversary staycation

Which hotel- Hilton Garden Inn, West Inn and Suites, Sheraton or Cape Rey Carlsbad? We want to be pampered a bit but not spend an arm and a leg.

Thank you!

West Inn, great location, wonderful on site dining at both West Bistro and the upscale West Steakhouse (think anniversary dinner splurge).

Like above, west Bistro is a great dinner space. I'd stay at the Sheraton tho. Much nicer.

I didn' t realize that the Hilton Carlsbad is now Cape Rey. Good to know.

I'd pick which ever of the hotels gives you the best room and/or extra perks for your money.

Hilton Garden Inn will probably be least expensive but that is not always the best criteria.

We do lots of local staycations but haven't been to the hotels you've mentioned so I have no personal experience with them. Don't forget to add in charges for pkg. and resort fees!
