Flying through Maun on May 29th

We have a two hour layover at Maun Airport en route from Kasane to Johannesburg and are wondering where the closest pub is. Is there one at the airport, and is it open on a Sunday?

The airport is not a hotbed of pub activity.

There's a decent bar at Riley's Hotel, a 5-minute taxi ride from the airport. Be sure that you get back in time for the check-in formalities for your ongoing flight -- international flights require additional time.

Bon Arrivee serve alcohol, they straight infront of you as you come out of the airport.

Walk slightly up from there and you will reach the a pub, not sure what it is called now, though has been known as the;

1) Bull and Bush

2) Buck and Hunter.

ha ha, I love your screen name (Wynvlieg means wine fly, for those who don't know Afrikaans). I will have to defer to the pub experts on this question...
