Night before and after fly in safari

Couple just looking for recommendations for the night before and the night after a safari trip. Will arrive from WDH the day before so need only bed and breakfast.

Will stay the day and night before going on the Capetown. Would love to find a place that is simply clean and reasonably priced that would include airport transfers. Do not need luxury bit do value comfort. Would love to be able to walk or bike to restaurants for dinner so location may be key as well.

Thanks for any and all recommendations.

Old Bridge Backpacker Lodge in Maun has a small number of very reasonably priced, good sized, thatched riverside en suite tents and an on-site bar / bistro. The office staff can arrange taxi transfers to the airport at the going rate.

Audi Camp is another option and has 4 luxury raised deck tents with en suite also situated on the banks of the Thamakalene River and has restaurant facilities. The tents at Audi are better for privacy but Old Bridge tents are more modern and roomier.

The next level and a jump up price wise is The Kraal B & B also on the river.Have stayed at all of these on different visits and all are suitable for a comfortable short stop over in Maun.

Stargaize1 has great ideas. Just wanted to add on that if you are flying to Cape Town after flying in from the bush, all the charter companies in Maun do ensure that you will get in to town to make the connection so if you're looking to not spend another overnight in Maun on your way out, this won't be a problem at all. The lodges and charter companies co-ordinate really well to make sure everyone gets to their connections on time.

Royal Tree Lodge is an excellent choice for a stopover in Maun to and from the Delta.

We stayed at Discovery B&B, before our safari. Simple but comfortable and very helpful owners, who collected and returned us to the airport. I don't think there is anywhere close enough to walk, for dinner, but the owners will book and provide transport to a nearby lodge.
