Road conditions in Maun and Moremi

We are planning a trip to Maun and Moremi in June 2018. We have been getting reports of heavy rain and bad road conditions in the area.

Anybody that has been around lately that can assist?

I live in Maun and we have had a lot of rain and the roads are bad at the moment. They should, however, be fine by June as it ordinarily has dried out quite a bit by then. These rains are normal and good for us at this time of year. Rain or not, make sure you're in a 4 x 4. Tar roads all way into Maun - quite bad pot holes on the Nata - Maun road, but otherwise pretty good.

I drive a Merc 350MLsuv with high (air) lift suspension. Very powerful vehicle with 300mm road clearance. No diff lock no low range. We will be visiting Moremi and Makgadigadi in July pulling an off road caravan. Will this be a problem?
