sunset time in Sept....?

Hi

We are a couple looking to head to OD in either Aug or Sept. We went last year, stayed at Asena Beach and loved every minute of it.

However owing to circumstances we have been unable to book thus far for this year and AB is now booked up for the time we can go in August - we had looked at Nicholas Heights Delux but are slightly concerned how far away it is - it looks too far out ? Suggestions please for a young-ish couple, unconcerned about too much noise but also looking to avoid the "crocodile club" if you see what I mean....4 star and above ideally....

Our other option (as we cannot see any other hotels we particularly fancy) is to go mid Sept - can anyone tell us 1) how hot it will likely be between 15 - 29 Sept and 2) what time approx it goes dark... My missus does not want to go then if it goes dark early you see - she's very particular!!

Thanks in advance.....

Hi stotty79,

Sunset will be close to either side of 7pm in the last half of September. We have all the sunrise and sunset times on a calendar on our website - turkeysforlife.com/p/fethiye-turkey-events-c… (they are all approx and for the centre of Fethiye rather than Öludeniz though - so they might be a few minutes out).

Temperatures are still hot (eg average 30 daytime) at that time of year too. Don't think you should have too many worries about coming to Ölüdeniz towards the end of September...

Good luck finding a suitable hotel for whenever you decide to come :)

In terms of a good hotel I would suggest either Oyster residence or Jade ( which is next door) both are 4 star standard and both directly on the sea front. You will have some noise though but you said that's not a problem.

September is my favourite month to visit great weather and the sea is warm too.
