AC necessary mid Nov in San Jose area?

In mid November we'll be staying near the SJO airport for two nights. We prefer sleeping in cooler temperatures. Since we haven't booked the hotel yet, what are your thoughts on whether we should exclude those hotels without AC? Published historical climate data suggests average night temperatures around 68 F or so, but, eh.... given worldwide temps lately. Of course booking with AC takes the guesswork out, but didn't want to exclude smaller mom&pop places due to lack of AC if not necessary. Thanks all!

That would depend upon whether you would need AC if it's in the 60s at night. I would be happy with the windows open. It may not reach 80 during the day, especially if it's rainy.

We've never needed ac in San Jose; it's pretty cool there in the evenings.
