Compared to these two areas I would highly recommend the 'Skytrek' ziplines at St. Elena/Monteverde.

I have done a few in MA and Sky Trek in Arenal. I felt that Sky Trek was the best - just awesome.

Enjoy!

I am partial to the ziplines in Manuel Antonio area, better dependible sunny weather, but really all areas mentioned are fabulous and Sky Trek is hard to beat out of all those areas. Enjoy!

Besides my previous recommendation for Saint Elena/Monteverde I would add Hacienda Baru near Dominical.

We took the zipline a few days ago and highly recommend it.

There are eight zip lines, each taking about 15 seconds. The bi-lingual guides carry tripod-binoculars to help spot wildlife and we saw iguanas, monkeys and both two- and three-toed sloths along with many birds.

Two very nice surprises at the end. One on the last zip line you go backwards thus not knowing when the line will end! And they provide frozen/iced small white hand towels.

And the three hour activity costs just $35.
