Plastic plates/utensils/glasses at grocery stores?

Do Auto Mercado or Super Compro or any other grocery store in Tamarindo have those kinda nice plastic plates, utensils, and glasses to buy? I'm having an event with about 40 people, keeping it casual so don't want to worry about renting dishes. Will reuse plates many times through out 5 days, and will recycle of course. Any advise on this?

I dont thiink they do but there is place in Huacas called Centro Plastico, across the from Supercompro and they have all kinds of plastic stuff. The other option is Wallmart in Liberia

Re reusing: Lots of plastic utensils cannot be cleaned properly . E.g., see …sfgate.com/should-reuse-plastic-utensils-79… .

I think you are going to have to "splurge" and buy enough for the 5 days. There are some things you shouldn't wash and reuse as it wouldn't be sanitary at all
