Norara to Mal Pais

How long does it take in January and is there any road sign so I don't get too lost?

Another option is the coastal route. Look at : www.nicoyapeninsula.com/general/map.php

It doesn't show all the roads but when you click on it you will get more details.

I would still allow 5 hours but you will see some beautiful beaches along the way. There are also good eats along the way, the Flying Scorpion at Playa San Miquel, Loma Clara in San Francisco de Coyote, Cambuto in Punta Islita.
