hello, i want to visit kolkata on my eid ul azha vacation from 3 sep to 8 sep. Pls can any one tell me all the shopping center are open that time

Most shopping centres remain open on Eid (if not on Sunday) in Kolkata.

Shopping spree will be at its peak throughout this year's Sept due to Eid al-Adha on early Sept and Durga Puja late that month.

Major shopping locations in and around Kolkata are:

New Market


Shyambazar, Hatibagan area

Burrabazar Market

College Street (only for books and office stationery)

Dakshinapan Shopping Complex, Dhakuria (for handlooms, handicrafts, textiles and artistic jewelry)

Eid ul Azha is a good time for sell for shopowner in kolkata. So no worry. Some shop even remain open till late in the morning. You can easily do your shopping upto late night.
