Sea lice/mini jelly fish stings

Hi. Went in the sea yesterday on Long Beach and quickly came out because was being stung by tiny things in the water. Research has advised that they are sea lice which are also something to do with tiny jelly fish. Can anyone tell me, is this going to be the same every day and is it the same on every beach in Koh Lanta?

Probably not and probably not. Try further out or further along the same beach.

We have the same situation on Klong Nin beach. Been here 5 days and only one day has been noticeable. Agree with above. Swim a litter further out. Last two days have had none.

Sea lice are a pain. They also seem to come and go intermittently and you can swim one day and they are everywhere, the next day, not one in sight!

I think tides and currents play a big part. They don't bother me too much. Only once have I really felt a painful sting and that was when I got stung on my lip - more nerves on your lips maybe.
