I have visited the temple as a child but now I wear a prosthetic foot. If I remove shoes I find it difficult to walk.what is the best option

You can talk to sewadaars standing at the entry gate . They will help you for sure. Temple has wheel chair facility also. At the Golden temple there is room I think its room no 65 its near Baba Buddha ji Beri.You can go there and tell you problem . They will definitely help you.

The temple has four doors . Its open to everyone.

In sikkhism its believed that one who comes to temple to see god is saad sangat (holy men of God). The sangat is regarded very high and everyone likes to help sangat. That's why you see many people clean shoes ,serve langar do cleaning work voluntarily.
