General Prices.

Hi, going to Trogir in May next year for our first trip to Croatia, and was wondering what sort of budget we will need i.e. the price of a nice meal, the price of a beer etc etc, doesn't have to be top end or the cheapest, just in general, and what is the current exchange rate to GBP. Thanks for your help in advance.

We stayed in Trogir this year and found that prices were cheaper furthest away from the front where the boats were. We were paying between £2 - 3 for a beer and £2.00 for a small bottle of wine. Fish dishes were £10.00 upwards and in some restaurants did not include a side dish so be sure to ask before you order. Fillet steak was roughly £17.00. We kept costs down by buying breakfast and lunch from the Supermarket which was relatively cheap. Btw did you notice how similar our TA names are?? :)

Hi Spiky, thanks for your reply, and yes its usually the case the further away you go from the front you usually get the better deals, and Im'e just back from Prague and got caught out with the side order issue, it makes a big difference to your bill when not expecting it, and did notice the similarity in our T/A names, and Im'e also from Glasgow.
