There is a hike with 3 waterfall where you can swim but not jump. Another beautiful waterfall where you can jump from 25 feet, swim, swing on a rope, practice the slack line. And the last one is at about 45 minutes from Boquete and you will hike , see a lot of monkeys , slots, birds and once you get to the to of it, there will be a small pool where you can get in, the view is spectacular, on this hike you start hike you climb up about 450 meters, with a 60 meters high waterfall. Contact Beyond Adventure Tours, they will give you more info on this places.

There are a few different trails in Boquete with waterfalls. The most popular for waterfalls is the "Three Secret Waterfalls" Trail, with really nice waterfalls! The first just flows into a canyon that you cannot swim in. The second waterfall has a bit of a pool (the only one you would be able to swim in) ... but keep in mind that you're up in the cloud forest and water is really really cold. The 3rd waterfall is quite large, with a small shallow pool, so there's risk of falling rocks so you won't really want to swim in it.

If you are interested in swimming, I would recommend going down to Caldera and Gualaca to visit the Cangilones Mini-Canyon. It's a big "local" swimming hole with really cool rock formations and canyon walls that you can jump about 5-15 feet down into the refreshing (but not too cold) water. There are also a few waterfalls along the way to the Cangilones, but sometimes difficult to find without a local guide.

Have a great trip in Boquete and let me know if you have any more questions about the area!!
