Top tips!!

Put half of what you want to pack, back in the wardrobe - you won't need it

Take only flipflops - no shoes needed

Leave all perfumed cosmetics, toiletries at home if you are prone to mozzie bites

Leave all bling at home - not needed

Take LOADS of high factor sunscreen (very expensive on the islands)

Make sure you've got your own snorkel and mask

Invest in an underwater camera if you haven't got one

Take small denomination US$ for tips

Take your camera out of your hand luggage before boarding the seaplane

Pack a change of clothes in your hand luggage, just in case

I'm sure others will add to the list. Hope you have a fantastic holiday, and write a review when you get back.

Hi

I've just checked with OH and apparently we have a Vivitar 6200 camera (not really any good asking me as these things go right over my head!). I do know it takes very reasonable pics and that it wasn't expensive. Don't know if that is any help.

Hi Yee0808,

I just want to let you know that you don't have to take Snorkeling equipments with you, as the Resort provides this to every tourist complimentary.

I'm sure this will help your luggage little less wight.

Free

Or not,

I would recomend taking your own mask and snorkel.

Let's deal with the mask first,---- no 2 faces are the same so you need to try as many masks on to find the one that best fits YOU, for fit comfort go to a dive shop ask advice and try on as many as you can, nothing worse than a borrowed old tired leaking mask to spoil your snorkeling.

Snorkle--- how many people with gum problems herpes and god knows what else, have chewed on the snorkel you are given, would you use a toothbrush that 100s of others have used
