Lots of people use Asiarooms with no problems. But be aware of their terms and conditions, as in any online booking website.

And read this cautionary post... a bit old, from 2008:

It is a legitimate website. I have used it without encountering any problems in the past.

Their internet site clearly states that you can cancel a booking 21 days before start of stay either by Internet or phone. We booked over the Internet because they had the best price.

We tried to cancel on Internet well before 21 days and were informed we had to call. Red flag #1 Well we called, and called and called. No representative ever answered the phone. Red flag #2. We sent an email canceling. No response. Red flag # 3. We never heard back from AsiaRooms until well after the 21 day period lapsed and then only to inform us they were charging us a penalty fee for cancellation. Save yourself our nightmare and book with someone else.

It was a nightmare.

We booked and paid for a room. When we arrived we had no room, the lobby was full of tourists which had no room. The hotel said it was asiarooms.com fault. Asiarooms is impossible to contact (no email, no chat, contact form is not working)

Avoid it by any way. If you have problems you are lost.

And - you can not cancel any booking there easely, you have to CALL them 14 days before. Try to call them - horror.

STAY FAR AWAY
