Money changer near Le Meridien?

Hi

Can anyone tell me of a good moneychanger in this area? What time do they normally close? Also in Bali there are a lot of money changers that try to scam you- does this situation exist in KK?

There's one near the Guardian Pharmacy (Next to a lingerie shop -- Triumph) at Wisma Merdeka. They normally close at night. Around 7pm or 8pm.

Hi,

Money changers in the city accepts almost all currencies and it's the norm to bring in USD, GBP, HKD etc. In your case, Australian currency is widely accepted. All banks in the city - HSBC, Standard Chartered, Maybank and OCBC accepts credit cards (just look out for the Cirus/Star/Visa?mastercard logos). Just make sure your debit card is activated for overseas transactions, then you're good to go.

Have a great time in KK.
